WHAT HOLLY SAID.

I remember sort of staggering out of the theater with my friends, completely in tears. I went in thoroughly freaked out that they were going to ruin my favorite fantasy books of all time, and came out with a renewed faith that you could make amazing movies out of books. Even when the images didn’t match up with the images in my mind, they were able to live comfortably alongside them in a separate “movie-verse” I loved just as much.

Okay, okay. I’ll quit with the LOTR stuff soon, I promise. :)

Watching the trailer for The Hobbit (over and over again) is making me remember how watching Lord of the Rings was amazing and kind of terrifying because I felt SO MANY THINGS all at once.
