I love TV shows made from book series like Game of Thrones and True Blood, because it gives a lot of time and scope to explore character. But decisions like that are not up to me (when you sell “motion picture rights” TV rights are bundled right along in there as well) and with the movie project as far along as it is,* I doubt they’d want to double back now and do something totally different.

* I know, I know, to y’all it doesn’t seem to be far along, but like I’ve always said there are a million things that go on in the background of a movie before it can get to the green-light stage and they are not the sort of things that get reported on. Any movie can fall apart before greenlighting but that applies to everything, and if that happens maybe they would consider a TV show. *shrug*
