Now with Tessa, taking The Star card!
More of Cassandra Jean’s Shadowhunter Tarot! You can’t have one without the other, so Jem with his beloved violin takes the place of Temperance, and Will as the Hanged Man.

This is just so cute. Tiny Will and Jem from the CP2 prologue.
“No. Don’t be ordinary like that. Don’t say that you’re sorry. Say that you’ll train with me.”
“I’ll train with you “

Indeed, he does not! Fortunately for him Will’s mother is an heiress. That is why they had a big house in Wales. She inherited it from her parents (not all estates were entailed) along with the land, the money, etc. In Clockwork Prince we find out that Edmund gambled away a good deal of her money and they sold the house and moved to Yorkshire, to the house Mortmain provided for them. Being a man of leisure and living off your wife’s money wasn’t particularly notable (though Edmund would have had to have some good explanations of who his family was and where he came from if he was marrying into landed gentry.) And Edmund did make the grand gesture of leaving the Nephilim for his wife. Writing their story might be an interesting extra someday. (More Herondale boys). |

One of my favorite fanartists, palnk, and some of her Infernal Devices work. From top left: Will is sad, Tessa and Will, Tessa is uncomfortable in her training gear, and Cecily.
